Their Style - Born in Brooklyn, NY, Kate's discovered the Great American Songbook and Jazz at an early age and would be her strongest influence. After graduating NYU Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA in Musical Theater, Kate balanced work in the theater with her own swing septet Lady Luck and the Suicide Kings which she lead for 6 years.

The Kate Quartet’s set list is inspired by the clarion call of voices like Sarah Vaughan, Billie Holiday and Nancy Wilson and has served as the aspirational blueprint for what would become her own soulful interpretations of classic standards as well as modern pop jazz covers. Kate is a musically voracious vocalist and bandleader who regularly performs throughout the Tri-state area as well as nationally with Louis Prima Jr and the Witnesses.
