Born and bred in Minneapolis, DJ Kinue studied classical violin and piano from an early age and grew up sneaking into local shows, such as Soul Asylum, The Breeders, Babes in Toyland, and Prince. While living in NYC, her exposure to house music, EDM, Latin, disco, and funk led her to a passion for deejaying. She has performed at large events in the usual-s St. Tropez, Monaco, London, Cape Town, NYC and Miami with residencies at clubs, such as Dune Deck Beach Club in the Hamptons and Silo Field Club in upstate NY. Her magic comes from reading her audience and knowing the moment to create a familiar and personal experience and, conversely, when to push the limits with progressive new beats to rally a crowd. She plays many types of music and is thorough in curating a perfect set for clients and their vision.
