AXIS

Axis is an accomplished battle, club DJ and event DJ artist with over 15 years of experience.  He emerged in the mid 2000s as a top East Coast Battle DJ by placing in National and International DJ Competitions including DMC, Guitar Center, and WMC.  In 2008 he joined Brooklyn based rock band Shinobi Ninja and spent the next ten 10 years releasing  albums, touring the country and performing at  festivals in front numerous diverse audiences all across the United States. This was an invaluable training ground for performing at private event.  

Now in Boston, Axis has quickly become one of the city's finest. Easy to work with on-site he is know for bringing his experience into the room to create a lasting impression for his private clients. To stay fresh in the music scene he became the resident DJ at two of Boston's top clubs, Venu and Bijou in 2019. At the end of the 2019 he was selected by legendary DJ Rob Swift as one of the 7 best turntablist DJs in Boston. 

Whether it's spinning at a star studded fundraiser on a stage at the Four Seasons or playing one of Boston's hottest nightclubs, with A list celebs, he understands how to dance any audience. Markus continues to prove why he is one of Boston's, and America’s, rising stars on the turntables.
